The truth is, any photos taken of your wedding day will be special because they’re documenting most special day. However, I am of the belief that your wedding photography experience should keep you in the bubble of the authentic, raw emotions of the day, not pull you out of them.
All the nerves, the childlike excitement, the passionate love, the toe-tingling joy and anticipation—those are my favorite subtle moments to document for you.
This is at the heart of my style and approach, because I know that more than anything, you want the experience of your wedding day to feel carefree, fun and overflowing with emotion. Sound like you?
I want you to know you do not have to perform on your wedding day. You are so precious just the way you are without even trying! You just need someone you trust to not miss the real moments.
To me, “documentary-style” means that, aside from any portraits we’ve previously discussed or planned—family photos, you and your bridal party, couple portraits—I capture the event as it unfolds without a lick of direction. This results in photos that are rich in meaning and, above all, true to you.
The magic is all in how I position myself to tell the story of each moment, guaranteeing candid, uninterrupted kisses of perfection.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Since high school, I have always been the friend who took all the photos (and created the Facebook albums the morning after any friend group outing). After college, I began a travel blog where I began getting more into photography and, specifically, self-portraiture.
Photography was my way back to loving myself during a particularly difficult moment in my life. I found this sense of control behind the lens that was incredibly empowering at a time when I felt I’d lost my power.
This craft became a source of healing and magic for me. A way to capture the truth, because a photo couldn’t lie to me the way my brain could.
Fast-forward to now and my many cameras have become extensions of my arms. Photography walked me home to myself. So for me, ensuring that my couples feel true, honest emotion behind every moment captured… is a deeply personal cause.
